Dr. Lauren Fafalak was born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pace University in downtown Manhattan. Following her undergraduate training, Dr. Fafalak received her Master of Science degree from New York University and was then accepted at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she was proud to serve as a clinical teaching assistant and also worked as an interviewer for prospective students. Dr. Fafalak was a member of the American Association of Women Dentists where she served as Vice President in her fourth year along with serving as Secretary for The Head and Neck Cancer Organization. Dr. Fafalak completed her general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell and served as chief resident in her second year. She currently is on staff at New York Presbyterian teaching clinical skills to the post-doc residents. Dr. Fafalak is excited to be a part of the Modern Dental of Manhattan team and looks forward to serving the community.
